A Founder’s Perspective
The Marketing Co-operative was born out of experience, not theory.
After more than twenty years leading marketing and communications across B2B and B2C environments, from global organisations to fast-moving scale-ups, I saw the same challenge surface again and again. Growing businesses didn’t struggle with ambition or ideas. They struggled with focus, clarity, and access to senior marketing thinking that truly aligned with their commercial goals.
Too often, marketing became busy but disconnected. Strong creative ideas weren’t always matched with performance. Sophisticated tools weren’t always grounded in strategy. And businesses were left investing time and budget without a clear sense of what was genuinely driving growth.
I built The Marketing Co-operative to offer a different way of working.
One that starts by understanding the business and its go-to-market reality before recommending solutions. One that brings together senior specialists across brand, performance, and innovation, working collaboratively rather than in silos. Having built and led in-house teams, worked closely with agencies, and delivered complex, multi-channel programmes, I believe the most effective marketing happens when strategy, creativity, and execution are tightly aligned, and when the people doing the work are close to the decision-making.
